AI Backend Engineer

<p>We are looking for a Backend Engineer, AI Agents with strong expertise in Python, distributed backend systems, and autonomous agent infrastructure. You will play a key role in building the <a href="http://Traia.io" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Traia.io</a> AI Agent runtime, enabling AI agents to collaborate, execute workflows, interact with tools, and operate securely at scale.</p><p>This role is focused on AI agents infrastructure and orchestration systems.</p><p>Key Responsibilities</p><p>* Architect and build the backend infrastructure powering the <a href="http://Traia.io" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Traia.io</a> AI Agent runtime.</p><p>* Develop and maintain multi-agent orchestration systems and autonomous workflows.</p><p>* Build infrastructure for agent runtimes, tool execution, memory systems, and task coordination.</p><p>* Integrate MCP servers, tools, skills, and external execution environments.</p><p>* Design secure deployment architectures for AI agents, including sandboxing and containerized runtimes.</p><p>* Build scalable APIs, queues, event-driven systems, and real-time communication layers.</p><p>* Collaborate with AI engineers and infrastructure teams to shape next-generation autonomous systems.</p> <br><h3>Requirements</h3> <p>* Strong backend engineering experience with Python.</p><p>* Experience building AI agents, autonomous workflows, orchestration systems, or multi-agent architectures.</p><p>* Familiarity with agent runtimes such as OpenClaw, Hermes, or similar frameworks is a strong advantage.</p><p>* Solid understanding of distributed systems, Docker, Kubernetes, and secure deployment architectures.</p><p>* Experience with MCP servers, tool calling systems, RAG pipelines, or AI-enhanced execution frameworks.</p><p>* Strong understanding of security, isolation, scalability, and performance tradeoffs in autonomous systems.</p><p>* Experience designing backend systems for task execution, workflow orchestration, or event-driven architectures.</p><p><br></p><p>Preferred Qualifications</p><p><br></p><p>* Web3 development experience, including blockchain integrations, wallets, smart contracts, or DeFi protocols.</p><p>* Experience with on-chain trading systems or autonomous execution agents.</p><p>* Familiarity with Safe wallets, EIP-712 signing, or account abstraction.</p><p>* Experience deploying isolated agent environments or sandboxed runtimes.</p><p>* Understanding of Kafka, NATS, or large-scale real-time infrastructure.</p>
