We are seeking a detail-oriented and organised Bookkeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating and maintaining accurate financial records for a variety of clients to adhere to VAT, MTD for income tax and year end accounts requirements. This role offers an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong background in accounting software and payroll knowledge and experience would be an advantage.
Responsibilities
Create and maintain accurate financial records using Sage accounting software. Experience of Zero and Quickbooks would be an advantage.
Reconcile bank statements and ledger accounts regularly to ensure accuracy.
Assist with payroll processing and general office administration.
Prepare financial records to trial balance ready to extract balance sheet and P&L reports.
Maintain organised filing systems for financial documents and records
Skills
Proven experience with accounting software such as Sage Cloud Accounting, experience of Xero and Quickbooks would be an advantage,
Strong understanding of bookkeeping principles and practices,
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently,
Attention to detail and high level of accuracy in data entry and record keeping,
Good communication skills, both written and verbal,
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team,

Pay: £14.00-£15.00 per hour
