<p><strong> Customer Description:</strong><br><span>The project is a leading global consulting firm considered among the most prestigious worldwide.</span><br><span>Clients from large global enterprises across financial services, media, technology, and public sectors rely on the Client’s platform and services.</span><br><br><strong> Project Description:</strong><br><span>The team is looking for a proactive Cloud Engineer to join a global team responsible for delivering self-service application hosting capabilities within a firmwide platform built on AWS.</span><br><span>The platform enables internal users and client teams to deploy and manage container-based applications securely and efficiently. The team is also expanding into Azure, making multi-cloud experience highly valuable.</span><br><br></p><p><strong> Project Phase:</strong><span>Active development</span><br><br></p><p><strong>Project Team:</strong><span>The team of ~13 people (product, SREs, QA)</span><br><br></p><p><strong> Soft Skills:</strong><br><span>• Self-driven, proactive, and improvement-oriented</span><br><span>• Comfortable working in distributed teams across time zones (Europe–US overlap required)</span><br><span>• Able to take ownership of tickets, contribute to roadmap discussions, and suggest platform improvements</span><br><span>• Must be confident and experienced enough to work independently, with support from senior team members</span><br><br><strong> Hard Skills / Must Have:</strong><br><span>• 5+ years of cloud engineering experience</span><br><span>• Experience with container technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, Helm</span><br><span>• Hands-on experience with Azure and AWS cloud platforms</span><br><span>• Scripting and coding in Node.js/JavaScript (primary language used on the team) and/or Python</span><br><span>• Understanding of security, logging, monitoring, and performance in cloud-native platform and and application architectures</span><br><span>• Experience with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, CircleCI, Jenkins</span><br><span>• Experience working in distributed Agile teams</span><br><span>• Experience contributing to design and complex system integrations</span><br><br><strong> Hard Skills / Nice to Have:</strong><br><span>• GCP exposure (big platform bonus, not required)</span><br><span>• Terraform / Infrastructure as Code experience</span><br><span>• AWS or Azure certification (signals depth of knowledge, not a hard gate)</span><br><span>• Experience with multi-tenant, large-scale hosting platforms (100+ applications)</span><br><br><strong>Responsibilities and Tasks:</strong><br><span>• Build and support infrastructure for containerized applications using technologies like Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm</span><br><span>• Collaborate on transitioning infrastructure patterns from AWS to Azure</span><br><span>• Work closely with stakeholders to maintain high availability of hosted applications—downtime could impact clients and firm reputation</span><br><span>• Improve and automate CI/CD workflows (using GitHub Actions, CircleCI, or similar)</span><br><span>• Identify and automate repetitive tasks and manual processes</span><br><span>• Contribute to writing and managing infrastructure as code (IaC) using Terraform</span><br><span>• Apply cloud security best practices, including encryption in transit and at rest</span><br><span>• Support application deployment processes across development, staging, and production environments</span><br><br><strong>Technology Stack:</strong><span>Azure, AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, Python/Golang/Bash/Terraform, GitHub Actions, CircleCI, Jenkins</span><br><br><br><br><br><br><br>👍<strong>English: </strong>upper-intermediate<br><strong><br>🌍 Location:</strong><br><br><br><br><br><strong>📩 Ready to Join?</strong><br>We look forward to receiving your application and welcoming you to our team!</p>
