The OpportunityThe Senior Manager, Commercial Strategic Planning and Forecasting will play a critical role in supporting enterprise commercial modeling and forecasting efforts across Myriad’s portfolio. This is a hands-on, execution-focused position responsible for building and maintaining detailed volume and revenue models to support commercial and product strategy, growth initiatives, and long-range planning. The role partners cross-functionally with Product, Market Intelligence, Commercial Operations, PMO, and Finance to ensure forecasts are data-driven, structured, and aligned to business objectives. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, analytically rigorous, comfortable working in Excel and large datasets, and energized by turning ambiguity into structured financial outputs. Key ResponsibilitiesCommercial Model Ownership<ul style="list-style-type: disc;"><li style="margin-bottom: 0in;">Build and maintain detailed bottom-up commercial models for new product launches, portfolio expansions, and growth initiatives</li><li style="margin-bottom: 0in;">Translate assumptions across epidemiology, eligibility, adoption, pricing, payer mix, and reimbursement into revenue projections</li><li style="margin-bottom: 0in;">Update models based on new data inputs and evolving business assumptions</li><li style="margin-bottom: 0in;">Ensure consistency and traceability of model logic across initiatives</li></ul>Forecast Execution & Iteration<ul style="list-style-type: disc;"><li style="margin-bottom: 0in;">Support monthly, quarterly, and long-range planning cycles with updated volume and revenue projections</li><li style="margin-bottom: 0in;">Incorporate real-world performance data to refine assumptions and improve forecast accuracy</li><li style="margin-bottom: 0in;">Maintain scenario models (base / upside / downside) and sensitivity analyses</li><li style="margin-bottom: 0in;">Identify drivers of variance versus plan and provide structured explanations</li></ul>Data & Cross-Functional Collaboration<ul style="list-style-type: disc;"><li style="margin-bottom: 0in;">Partner with Market Intelligence to integrate primary research and market sizing inputs into models</li><li style="margin-bottom: 0in;">Work with Commercial Operations to align field capacity assumptions and territory coverage impacts</li><li style="margin-bottom: 0in;">Collaborate with Finance to align modeled outputs with P&L expectations</li><li style="margin-bottom: 0in;">Support Product and PMO teams with financial modeling inputs for initiative tracking</li></ul>Business Case & ROI Support<ul style="list-style-type: disc;"><li style="margin-bottom: 0in;">Develop financial impact models for new initiatives, including headcount investment, operating costs, and revenue projections</li><li style="margin-bottom: 0in;">Support ROI and breakeven analyses for growth programs</li><li style="margin-bottom: 0in;">Quantify financial risk associated with reimbursement shifts, competitive dynamics, and timing changes</li></ul>Tools & Process Improvement<ul style="list-style-type: disc;"><li style="margin-bottom: 0in;">Improve forecasting tools and templates to enhance scalability and usability</li><li style="margin-bottom: 0in;">Support development of dashboards and reporting tools to monitor forecast assumptions versus actuals</li><li style="margin-bottom: 0in;">Drive consistency in modeling methodology across initiatives</li></ul> Qualifications<ul style="list-style-type: disc;"><li style="margin-bottom: 0in;">7+ years of experience in commercial operations, commercial forecasting, FP&A, or financial modeling </li><li style="margin-bottom: 0in;">Experience in healthcare, biotech, diagnostics, or life sciences preferred</li><li style="margin-bottom: 0in;">Technical Skills:<ul style="list-style-type: circle;"><li style="margin-bottom: 0in;">Advanced Excel skills (complex formulas, scenario modeling, structured financial frameworks) required</li><li style="margin-bottom: 0in;">Experience Onestream, Anaplan, Tableau, Looker or similar financial planning, data analytics, business intelligence, and dashboard tools required</li></ul></li><li style="margin-bottom: 0in;">Strong analytical mindset with ability to manage large datasets and synthesize outputs clearly</li><li style="margin-bottom: 0in;">Experience building bottom-up revenue models preferred</li><li style="margin-bottom: 0in;">Strong organizational skills and attention to detail</li><li style="margin-bottom: 0in;">Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, evolving environment</li></ul>Preferred:<ul style="list-style-type: disc;"><li style="margin-bottom: 0in;">Experience supporting product launches</li><li style="margin-bottom: 0in;">Familiarity with reimbursement and payer dynamics</li><li style="margin-bottom: 0in;">Experience working cross-functionally with commercial and product teams</li></ul><h2>Physical Requirements</h2>Use of equipment and tools necessary to perform essential job functions.<h2>EEO</h2>We recognize that our people are our strength and the diverse talents they bring to our global workforce are directly linked to our success.
