Data Analyst - Performance & Partner Reporting

We pioneered security deposit insurance and continue to push the industry forward with a growing suite of products — from deposit management to lease guarantees and loss-of-employment protection. We’re growing quickly, tackling real problems at scale, and building technology that’s changing how renting works. In this role, you will: <ul> <li>Build and maintain reporting frameworks and dashboards that support both internal performance tracking and external partner-facing analytics, ensuring data accuracy and consistency across reporting surfaces</li> <li>Work closely with product, revenue, operations, and finance teams to pull together insights on unit economics, conversion funnels, and customer lifetime value</li> <li>Execute analyses (cohort studies, trend analyses, A/B test readouts) to measure product performance, pricing impact, and partner outcomes, with guidance on prioritization from your manager</li> <li>Support the data pipeline from raw data to stakeholder-ready insight — including data validation, QA, and documentation of reporting methodologies</li> <li>Share insights across teams, helping connect the dots between what different functions are seeing in the data</li> <li>Surface findings and recommendations that inform product and commercial decisions — you won't just run reports, you'll have a voice in what the data means</li> <li>Dig into messy data, identify patterns, and move quickly from question to insight to recommendation</li> </ul> We're ideally seeking: <ul> <li>Fast to first insight — you get to a useful answer quickly, then decide whether to go deeper based on what the business needs</li> <li>Exposure to growth metrics, funnel analysis, LTV modeling, retention analysis, or operational performance reporting</li> <li>Interest in connecting analytical work to business decisions — you may be early in building this muscle, but you're curious about the "so what" behind the numbers</li> <li>2–4 years of experience in a data analytics, business intelligence, or quantitative role</li> <li>Strong SQL skills and experience building reports or dashboards (e.g., Looker, Tableau, Mode, or similar BI tools)</li> <li>Familiarity with statistical concepts — hypothesis testing, regression, segmentation — and a sense for when rigor matters vs. when directional is enough</li> <li>Ability to manage competing priorities across workstreams while keeping your manager in the loop on tradeoffs</li> <li>Comfort in a fast-paced, execution-heavy environment where you'll spend most of your time building and delivering, with growing opportunities to shape the questions we ask and the decisions we make</li> <li>Comfortable with AI and automation as part of how you work — you've used AI tools to move faster, reduce repetitive work, or build something on your own</li> </ul> Compensation & Benefits: Base Salary Range: $80,000 - $95,000 Rhino + Jetty has partnered with a number of compensation benchmarking tools to determine competitive and fair market pay bands for our size and stage. Our goal is to ensure each employee is paid equitably and competitively while also maintaining a consistent and standardized methodology. Individual pay decisions are based on a number of factors including qualifications for the role, experience level and balancing internal equity relative to other teammates.
