With over 700 colleagues in 8 countries, we work together every day to make our customers’ services better, smarter and more fun.</p></div></section><section class="job-section" id="st-jobDescription"><div><p class="googlejobs-paragraph--empty"></p><h2 class="title">Job Description</h2></div><div class="wysiwyg" itemprop="responsibilities"><p>TOPdesk is looking for an experienced Financial Controller to support the execution of global accounting operations with a focus on consolidation, internal control frameworks and external audit management. This role will report to the VP Global Controller, and will play a critical part in building a global, well-controlled, and scalable finance function that supports both strategic growth and operational precision. </p><p>In this role, we are looking for someone who has strong experience in and can take ownership of the following areas: </p><p><strong>Financial Consolidations & Reporting </strong></p><ul><li>Preparing consolidated financial statements in a multicurrency environment </li><li>Partnering cross-functionally to ensure end-to-end financial accuracy </li><li>Overseeing internal and external reporting, including preparation of lender reporting packages and coordination with FP&A. </li><li>Supporting statutory and tax filing requirements across international entities. </li></ul><p><strong>External Audit Management  </strong></p><ul><li>Managing the audit process, including preparing audited financial statements and PBC documentation. </li><li>Ensuring Audit readiness and serving as the primary contact for auditors </li></ul><p><strong>Policy, Process & Controls </strong></p><ul><li>Leading the implementation and management of the internal control framework. </li><li>Promoting standardization and automation within accounting operations. </li><li>Developing global accounting policies and procedures and overseeing global close governance  </li><li>Assisting with the implementation and optimization of Netsuite ERP and other financial systems.   </li></ul><p>In this role, you will report directly to and partner up with the VP Global Controller. </p></div></section><section class="job-section" id="st-qualifications"><div><p class="googlejobs-paragraph--empty"></p><h2 class="title">Qualifications</h2></div><div class="wysiwyg" itemprop="qualifications"><p><strong>Are you our new Financial controller? </strong></p><ul><li>Chartered Accountant required</li><li>Big 4 or national firm audit experience </li><li>5-10 years of progressive accounting experience in a global, PE-backed company </li><li>Experience managing consolidation processes in a multicurrency environment  </li><li>Strong experience managing internal controls and driving improvements </li><li>Deep understanding of Dutch GAAP / IFRS, and financial reporting standards </li><li>Strong experience with modern financial systems, experience with Netsuite is a strong plus </li><li>Knowledge about sales tax, income tax & transfer pricing is a plus </li><li>Demonstrated success leading global close and internal control programs </li><li>Strong communicator, collaborator, and operator across time zones and cultures </li><li>Fluency in English, both spoken and written, is required. </li></ul></div></section><section class="job-section" id="st-additionalInformation"><div><p class="googlejobs-paragraph--empty"></p><h2 class="title">Additional Information</h2></div><div class="wysiwyg" itemprop="incentives"><ul><li>Competitive base salary and profit share scheme </li><li>Flexible working and healthy work-life balance </li><li>Learning budget equivalent to 10% of your basic salary </li><li>Generous pension scheme with company contributions up to 8% </li><li>Enhanced maternity & paternity leave </li><li>Private health insurance options </li><li>Cycle-to-work scheme and techscheme </li><li>15 fully paid sick days, 5 days paid parental/carer leave, and 2 volunteering days </li><li>26 days of paid annual leave (plus public holidays) and your birthday off</li><li>Employee Assistance Program for you and your family </li><li>Unlimited career support </li></ul></div></section>
