As a Business Development Associate (BDA) at Salesforce, you'll be part of a dynamic team focused on driving growth in the Latin American market (LATAM). This is a 1-year part-time internship program starting in July or August of 2025, designed to transform your potential and develop high-impact sales skills. ## What You'll Do You'll gain hands-on experience in prospecting, lead generation, and understanding the full sales cycle while positioning yourself for a successful career in Sales Development. Working closely with experienced Sales Development Representatives (SDRs) and managers, you'll learn how to strategically target and engage prospects across all industries. Your responsibilities will include managing and nurturing Partner Leads (PLs) by working closely with consulting partners to ensure smooth lead handover and progression through the sales funnel. This means qualifying PLs, aligning with partners on next steps, and ensuring timely follow-ups to increase conversion rates. You'll also qualify inbound leads generated through Salesforce marketing campaigns, events, and website traffic using our Customer 360 platform. Conducting outbound lead generation activities—including cold calling, email outreach, and social media engagement—will be central to your role, with a focus on pipeline generation across multiple segments. Collaborating closely with SDRs and Sales Executives, you'll drive interest and schedule discovery meetings with potential customers while being instrumental in showcasing our platforms through live demonstrations. Research on target accounts, identifying key contacts, and helping develop personalized outreach strategies are important parts of what you'll contribute. You'll participate in ongoing training sessions and shadowing opportunities to learn best practices in sales engagement and opportunity creation. Managing prospecting activity using Salesforce's CRM platform ensures proper follow-up and lead conversion. You'll also leverage Salesforce's AI tools to streamline sales workflows, empower the team with timely insights, and articulate the value proposition of our offerings to drive business growth. ## Program Highlights Our proven 6-12 month BDA Program prepares you to advance into SDR roles, equipped with expertise in Salesforce solutions, solutions selling, and customer profiling. You'll receive comprehensive enablement including sales methodology, product knowledge, and role-specific skills development. Mentorship and support are built into the program—you'll work side by side with experienced SDRs and sales leaders, gaining invaluable guidance to help you progress in your career. BDAs who successfully complete the program are well-positioned to advance to SDR roles within 6-12 months, accelerating sales careers at Salesforce. You'll be immersed in real-world challenges of lead qualification, profiling, and nurturing, preparing you to contribute immediately to the sales pipeline. ## What We're Looking For You should have a bachelor's degree with a graduation date between June 2026 and December 2026. Intermediate English proficiency is required. Strong communication skills—both verbal and written—are essential, along with genuine enthusiasm for building a career in sales and technology. You'll need to work collaboratively in a team environment and be self-motivated with a passion for learning and personal growth.
