This position assists in the care of the patient by following through on completion of provider orders and answering patient calls for medication refill orders, and approved results reporting. Additionally, may be responsible for performing over the phone triage. Individuals in this function typically have certification. May also be responsible for overseeing and participating in day-to-day clinical support care of patients.
