National Shopper Marketing Manager

<p>The Shopper Marketing role is an amazing opportunity for the successful individual to plan and own how the Kimberly-Clark South Africa strategies are translated into how we engage our shoppers within the typical and Omni Channel touch points.</p> <p>You will be responsible for deploying excellence in strategic thinking/executional best practice across shopper messaging, point of sale (physical and digital) as well as shopper marketing programs designed to driver further brand loyalty and have a direct impact of sales in store. You will also bring shopper insights back into the strategy creation internal to make for better innovation etc.</p> <p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p> <p>As the role has a high level of integration across the commercial team you will need to partner with the category, sales, operations and marketing teams to:Develop shopper platforms that drive our brands in context of the category visions and growth drivers while ensuring they live across channels.<br /> Identify and define opportunities to constructively influence shopper behaviours uniquely based on channel and medium.<br /> Identify opportunities for competitive advantage and/or areas of risk for our brands through rigorous monitoring and assessment of KC and competitor visibility and impact at all shopper touch-points<br /> Retailer specific shopper engagement opportunities through understanding of distinct shopper and mission profiles and shopper engagement strengths<br /> Annual Strategy Planning:<br /> Review and develop shopper marketing plans to stimulate category participation incorporating into the annual brand plans<br /> Defining and setting of annual business KPI’s/milestones for shopper engagement programs by channel<br /> Customised category/customer solutions based on identified areas of growth<br /> Track performance/ROI on total campaigns as well as ensure the timely production and delivery of physical elements, working across design and production agencies in collaboration with the operations team<br /> Manage the total trade spend budget and ensure that monthly tracking and reporting is completed timely</p> <p><strong>Requirements</strong><br /> Minimum of Bachelor’s degree required.<br /> Significant experience (3-5 year) in Shopper Marketing and/or Brand Management within the CPG/FMCG industry<br /> Experience in activations and shopper campaigns within Modern Trade as well as Traditional/Route to (informal) Markets.<br /> Experience in sales and /or category development advantageous<br /> Previous team or project leadership experience with emphasis on managing projects as well as creative agencies and production agencies.<br /> Detailed understanding of consumer, shopper and customer needs/dynamics<br /> Previous experience managing large budgets and relevant monthly processes</p> <p><strong>We Offer</strong><br /> Negotiable basic salary dependent on experience<br /> Competitive performance bonus<br /> Car allowance<br /> Generous Pension scheme and Medical Aid<br /> And many other personal benefits – from Bursary Schemes to aid you future development/studies to subsidization of your child’s schooling fees</p> <p>And finally, the fine print…</p> <p>For Kimberly-Clark to grow and prosper, we must be an inclusive organization that applies the diverse experiences and passions of its team members to brands that make life better for people all around the world.
