CTG is seeking to fill a Platform Engineer – Cloud Platforms position for our client. Location: Remote Duration: 2 years Duties:<ul data-start="153" data-end="1328"><li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;" data-section-id="1npicsz" data-start="153" data-end="289">Design, build, and operate scalable, secure, and highly available cloud platform services supporting engineering and analytics teams</li><li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;" data-section-id="jkw4xg" data-start="290" data-end="407">Develop and maintain infrastructure-as-code (IaC) solutions to enable consistent and repeatable cloud deployments</li><li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;" data-section-id="1d59x5o" data-start="408" data-end="500">Build and enhance CI/CD pipelines to support automated application and platform delivery</li><li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;" data-section-id="17vtlmo" data-start="501" data-end="653">Partner with application teams, data engineers, security, and enterprise architects to deliver standardized self-service infrastructure capabilities</li><li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;" data-section-id="19aiyus" data-start="654" data-end="791">Implement and enforce cloud best practices across identity and access management (IAM), networking, security, and compliance controls</li><li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;" data-section-id="rfpibq" data-start="792" data-end="908">Monitor platform health, performance, and cost efficiency; drive optimization initiatives across cloud resources</li><li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;" data-section-id="1jsxmw5" data-start="909" data-end="1032">Design and implement observability solutions including logging, metrics, tracing, and alerting for production workloads</li><li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;" data-section-id="a0gz1r" data-start="1033" data-end="1121">Support incident response, root cause analysis, and operational readiness activities</li><li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;" data-section-id="flaj5v" data-start="1122" data-end="1245">Continuously improve platform reliability, scalability, and developer experience through automation and standardization</li><li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;" data-section-id="1gnw1ht" data-start="1246" data-end="1328">Contribute to cloud governance, architectural standards, and platform roadmaps</li></ul>Skills:<ul data-start="1344" data-end="2117"><li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;" data-section-id="x4ubwq" data-start="1344" data-end="1411">Strong experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, and/or GCP)</li><li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;" data-section-id="1103iee" data-start="1412" data-end="1511">Proficiency in infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or ARM templates</li><li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;" data-section-id="g7cv8n" data-start="1512" data-end="1610">Experience building and managing CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Azure DevOps)</li><li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;" data-section-id="znsolw" data-start="1611" data-end="1694">Strong understanding of containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)</li><li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;" data-section-id="eujqdo" data-start="1695" data-end="1762">Knowledge of networking, IAM, and cloud security best practices</li><li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;" data-section-id="qcx03u" data-start="1763" data-end="1868">Experience with observability tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack, CloudWatch, Azure Monitor)</li><li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;" data-section-id="j5geqb" data-start="1869" data-end="1938">Strong automation and scripting skills (Python, Bash, or similar)</li><li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;" data-section-id="b2ebrd" data-start="1939" data-end="2016">Familiarity with DevOps and Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) principles</li><li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;" data-section-id="1uixkpj" data-start="2017" data-end="2117">Strong problem-solving skills and ability to operate in complex distributed systems environments</li></ul>Experience:<ul data-start="2137" data-end="2509"><li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;" data-section-id="1n1cxe9" data-start="2137" data-end="2232">Proven experience designing and operating cloud-native platforms in production environments</li><li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;" data-section-id="ya4azv" data-start="2233" data-end="2321">Experience supporting enterprise-scale infrastructure and mission-critical workloads</li><li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;" data-section-id="1kaokam" data-start="2322" data-end="2410">Demonstrated experience with automation, CI/CD, and infrastructure-as-code practices</li><li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;" data-section-id="6egar1" data-start="2411" data-end="2509">Experience collaborating across cross-functional engineering, security, and architecture teams</li></ul>Education:<ul><li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; The expected base salary for this position is up to $127,000. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, market factors, and where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained.
