Proofreader (German language)

For over 13 years, we have been helping people find their unique path to relationships through intuitive design, smart algorithms, and a safe space.</p><p style="min-height:1.5em">We are currently looking for an experienced <strong>Proofreader (German language) </strong>to review the app's existing content and make the overall text feel more natural and engaging for the user.</p><p style="min-height:1.5em"><strong>You will have the following tasks:</strong></p><ul style="min-height:1.5em"><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Project and scope assessment</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Reviewing the product's tone of voice and guidelines</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Proofreading content</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Feedback round on proofreading results to identify recurring issues in translations</p></li></ul><p style="min-height:1.5em"><strong>What is important for us:</strong></p><ul style="min-height:1.5em"><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">2+ years of experience in proofreading/editing in German</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Preferably experience in digital products / apps / marketing content localization</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">German level: native, English: advance</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Strong command of German grammar, style, and punctuation</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Understanding of UX writing / product copy</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Experience with CAT tools (Crowdin or similar)</p></li></ul><p style="min-height:1.5em"><strong>It will be a plus for us if you have:</strong></p><ul style="min-height:1.5em"><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Experience in dating / social / consumer apps</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Experience working with tone of voice / brand voice</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Understanding of copy A/B testing</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Experience with large-scale projects (10k+ words)</p></li></ul><p style="min-height:1.5em"><strong>What awaits you at Quarks:</strong></p><ul style="min-height:1.5em"><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">We have a great team.
