The RoleAs part of our growth, we’re recruiting an RFID Software Consultant / Project Manager / Pre-Sales Specialist to lead client projects involving the digitization of warehouses and stores, with a strong focus on RFID and mobility technologies. You’ll report to the Director of Operations and act as a key contact for our clients, with a three-fold role: Consulting & Delivery, Project Management, and Pre-Sales support. Key Responsibilities Consulting & Delivery<ul><li>Lead end-to-end delivery of RFID software implementation projects for retail clients</li><li>Analyze client requirements and translate them into scalable SaaS RFID solutions</li><li>Configure, deploy, and optimize RFID systems in real-world retail environments</li><li>Ensure successful integration with existing IT systems (POS, ERP, WMS, etc.)</li><li>Provide post-deployment support and continuous improvement recommendations</li><li>Facilitate functional scoping workshops and write specifications/requirements documents</li></ul> Project Management<ul><li>Manage project timelines, scope, risks, and resources</li><li>Coordinate cross-functional teams (R&D, technical, operations, client stakeholders)</li><li>Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget</li><li>Maintain clear communication and reporting throughout project lifecycles (Agile or Waterfall)</li></ul> Pre-Sales & Business Development<ul><li>Support sales teams with technical expertise during client engagements</li><li>Conduct product demonstrations, workshops, and proof-of-concepts</li><li>Assist in preparing proposals, RFP responses, and solution architectures</li><li>Act as a trusted advisor to clients during the evaluation and decision process</li><li>Participate in commercial proposals and pitches</li></ul> What does being a Consultant at Frequentiel mean?You’ll be involved from the earliest stages of a project, working with clients to define the features to deploy in warehouses and stores. You’ll identify integration points with existing applications (POS, WMS, ERP, etc.), build the test environment, and once validated, oversee and coordinate solution deployment in the field with support from our internal teams. Example: For a vertical retailer, the consultant maps logistic flows, defines integration points with existing systems, organizes demos, oversees hardware installation, and ensures go-live operations. Project durations vary greatly, some go live in just a few weeks, others span several years with a pilot phase followed by international rollout. Typically, a consultant handles several projects at once: 1–2 active ones and a few others with ongoing enhancement requests.
