Summary As a key member of the team, the Senior Full Stack Developer will be responsible for the entire software development lifecycle of assigned software components, from requirements gathering and development to testing and deployment, all within a SAFe Agile framework. The Senior Full Stack Developer will play a critical role in building and maintaining applications that support our core mission, with a focus on seamless integration and high performance. What You'll Be Doing:<ul><li>Application Development: Develop, test, and deploy full-stack applications, including dashboards, process automation tools, and interface applications, using Java, JEE, Spring/Spring Boot, Angular and other relevant technologies.</li><li>Microservices Architecture: Design, develop, and maintain API microservices that are scalable, resilient, and secure.</li><li>Hands-on role with extensive involvement in the full development lifecycle, including design, development, unit testing, implementation, maintenance and enhancement of applications.</li><li>Collaboration: Collaborate effectively with other developers, testers, and stakeholders within a SAFe Agile environment.</li><li>Continuous Improvement: Identify and implement opportunities to improve system performance, reliability, and security.</li><li>Drive the migration of ASSIST monolith applications to the latest microservices architecture.</li><li>Conduct thorough code peer reviews and make sure developers are following the Java coding standards and best practices.</li></ul> Required Qualifications:<ul><li>Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.</li><li>8-10 years of experience in full-stack development using Java/JEE.</li><li>Strong proficiency in Java, JEE and related technologies, including Spring/Spring Boot and Angular frameworks.</li><li>Experience with API microservices development and JOOQ ORM, integrating ESRI ArcGIS geospatial APIs</li><li>Hands-on experience with Docker, Apache Maven, JBoss Enterprise Application Platforms and cloud-native application hosting.</li><li>Solid understanding of responsive design principles and implementation.</li><li>Expert Proficiency and hands on experience with UI frameworks such as Angular, Bootstrap, jQuery, and DataTables.</li><li>Experience with Java Persistence API(JPA) and Hibernate ORMs.</li><li>Experience with Atlassian Application Lifecycle Management tools (JIRA/Confluence).</li><li>Experience with AI Prompt Templates, Prompt engineering and applying them to developer AI tools such as Github CoPilot</li><li>Availability during core business hours of 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM EST.</li><li>Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance</li></ul> Preferred Qualifications:<ul><li>Experience supporting US federal government contracts</li><li>Experience with work flow orchestration tools such as<a href="http://temporal.io" target="_blank" style="color: #000000;" rel="noopener"> Temporal.io</a>, Camunda is a plus.</li><li>Experience with integrating USWDS compliant components with Angular storybook is a plus</li></ul> Things to Know:Commitment to Non-DiscriminationAll qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to disability, status as a protected veteran or any other status protected by applicable federal, state, local, or international law. Salary RangeThe proposed salary range for this role is $160,000.00 to $ 165,000.00 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
