This is a full-time, on-site role for a Vice Principal based at Hillwoods Academy, Preet Vihar, Delhi. The Vice Principal will assist in the overall administration of the school, support teachers, and staff in the implementation of educational goals, and ensure adherence to C.E. policies and standards. They will be responsible for coordinating academic and extracurricular activities, managing school operations, and fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment. Regular interaction with students, parents, and faculty will be crucial to ensure the overall development and well-being of students.
Academic Leadership
Assist the Principal in planning, implementing, and monitoring the academic programme.
Monitor student performance and recommend strategies for academic improvement.
Staff Supervision and Development
Guide, mentor, and evaluate teachers and support staff.
Organize and coordinate staff training and professional development programmes.
Student Management
Maintain discipline and promote a positive school culture.
Address student behavioural and academic concerns in collaboration with teachers and parents.
Administrative Management
Oversee day-to-day school operations and administrative activities.
Assist in timetable preparation, examination planning, and event management.
Ensure compliance with school policies, board regulations, and statutory requirements.
Parent and Community Relations
Foster effective communication between the school and parents.
Participate in parent-teacher meetings and address concerns professionally.
Build positive relationships with stakeholders and the community.
Quality Assurance
Monitor teaching-learning processes and educational outcomes.
Support school accreditation, inspections, and quality improvement initiatives.
Analyze academic data and prepare reports for school management.
Strong leadership and team management abilities.
Sound knowledge of curriculum planning and educational policies.
Proficiency in school administration and documentation.
Ability to work collaboratively with staff, students, parents, and management.
Postgraduate degree in a relevant subject.
B.Ed./Preference for candidates with leadership training or educational management qualifications.
Experience Required:
Minimum 5 years of experience as Headmistress or Vice Principal in a reputed school.
